how I' d cherished you until I lost you.

I had never been aware
how dear and precious you were
because I took you for granted.
When I lost you suddenly,
I was so shaken and paralyzed with despair
for the first time in my life.
We never know how great and precious our love is until we lose it, do we?

As a composer from Japan,
I will send this song written among a sadness, turmoil and love
which we including myself experienced at a loss of our loved ones
to all the people in the world.
I would like to share with you a precious and irreplaceable love
which we never be aware of until we lose it.



"I lost my love to scirrhous cancer.
I composed this song in such a sadness.
And while recording at a studio in Tokyo, I faced the mega earthquake.
All the buildings in Aoyama area were trembling,
and the highway was shaking as if falling down.
It looked like a dreamy CG scene from a science fiction movie.
When I was writing a song,
I thought not many people would share the same feelings with me
and would understand me
as I thought there might be few whose beloveds had passed away so young as mine.
After the earthquake, to my surprise however,
I found a large number of people have the similar feelings as mine.
This is such an unusual situation beyond our imagination.
I sincerely wish that you will play, listen and deliver this song
hoping to share my pains, love and sadness
with all those who feel the same and have pains and love in their hearts now. MARTH"
